Happy Birthday Sora!

Sora turned 5 on Friday! We spent her birthday with cinnamon rolls for breakfast, a trip to the Y for swim class and gymnastics followed by a picnic in the lobby (at her request).

After lunch, we went to the bouncy house and arcade. Sora tried some new tricks including climbing the slide backwards.

On the way home, we stopped at the bakery for more birthday treats.

Sora looking very grown up in her birthday outfit from Grandma & Papa Pherson, thanking them on the phone for the presents.
On Saturday, my parents flew into town and my brother and his family drove over and we celebrated again with a rainbow birthday party at Wisconsin Dells. Notice the rainbow dress, rainbow peppers and rainbow fruit kabobs.
Sora changed into her second rainbow dress for the cupcakes. We also did tie dye shirts and a rainbow scavenger hunt for gold coins (filled with chocolate).

One of her favorite presents was her new Hello Kitty jammies (she just grew out of her 4T one).
At the hotel, we spent a lot of time at the four waterslides and at the giant kid's ball/climbing area.

Sora was very tired after a long exciting weekend with her two sweet cousins, so we saw a lot of this face:
Luckily, there was a lot of this face too:
The last day, before we left, we explored the last of the four waterparks with my mom while Kyle and my dad stayed dry.

We went to the same hotel in May and Sora didn't go on any grown up rides. This time, she went on a few (3 or 4). They were all pitch black so she decided she didn't want to go on any more, but I was impressed that she went on so many to begin with!
